After all the rain, the pool water balancing continued anew, slowly turning the colours in the right direction. But it was cool, even if it was dry. So, no swimming this week. Maybe next (when a period of warm weather is predicted). But it will be cool swimming – so we will turn on the water heater to achieve at least one dip.
The other development this week was when Lisa went to get her eyes checked before ordering replacement glasses – she was finding it increasingly difficult to handle small print. However, it was not her glasses prescription which needed sorting – the cataract developing in one eye has got a lot worse, and now the other eye, too, is affected. So, operations for cataract removal have been scheduled, one in the coming week and one later in the month.
