Phase 1: Grading.
Once we had pressed the “GO” button, the first task was to clear an access road from the nearby highway, and then grade enough land to built our new home. It turned out to be a bigger job than expected.
With lots of red clay exposed, a slightly more level surface and a big hole dug, times for foundations and footings.
